Our 3 Most Popular Linen Pants

In our team, we often joke that pants are the true heart of Linenfox.
Maybe it’s because we wear them the most while working.
Or maybe it’s partly my influence – catching me in a dress or skirt is a rare sight!

Ocean Pants

Let’s start from the very beginning – the very first pair of pants we ever made at Linenfox the Ocean pants.

They’re a true classic. A straight-cut, slightly cropped silhouette gives them a simple yet polished look, perfect for warm days. The elasticated waistband and roomy front pockets make them as practical as they are stylish. No fuss, no extra details – just clean, high-rise linen pants that you can wear on repeat.

Today, you can choose them in four different fabrics: medium weight linen, heavy weight linen, gingham linen, and even waffle linen.

No surprise they’ve stayed in our top three most-loved styles.

Frankie Pants

Here they are – my absolute favorite and yours too. The Frankie pants quickly stole the spotlight from our Ocean trousers and became a true bestseller.

They came to life almost by accident – long before the barrel-leg pants trend took over. I just wanted to try sewing barrel-leg style pants from something as delicate as linen. The whole team was pleasantly surprised with the result, and we instantly fell in love. Before we knew it, they were up on our website – and they’re still our most popular pair of wide-leg linen pants to this day.

These trousers are our take on the classic mom-fit jeans: a decorative front button, faux zipper fly, and three belt loops so you can style them with your favorite belt. The elasticated waistband in the back makes them super comfortable, and the roomy front and back pockets keep them practical.  Just like the Ocean pants, we make the Frankie pants in four fabric types: medium-weight linen, heavy-weight linen, gingham linen, and waffle linen – so you can find the perfect texture and drape for your style.

If I regret one thing, it’s that we didn’t add a real zipper from the start – and yes, we know it surprises some of you! But who knows, maybe one day we’ll make this little update.

Palazzo Pants

These pants are also among our very first creations. Their story is actually quite fun – we had a photoshoot planned in Italy but realized we didn’t have anything to pair with our tops. The day before the flight, we decided to combine two pieces – pants and a skirt – into one garment. And that’s how these pants were born! They’ve been part of our collection ever since, and they remain one of your most-loved styles.

Loose and flowy, these trousers flare gently from the waist down, creating an airy and flattering look. The gathered waistband and slightly cropped length balance the proportions beautifully. The high-waisted, skirt-like cut includes an elasticated back for comfort and ease of movement. And of course – spacious inseam pockets for your everyday essentials.

How to Style Your Linen Pants

My favorite time of year to style linen pants is definitely autumn – when layering season begins. Our go-to combo is simple but so good: linen pants, a crisp linen shirt, and a cozy wool sweater. My personal favorites are sweaters from Babaa – they pair beautifully with the airy texture of linen.

When it comes to shoes, I love heavier styles – they balance out the lightness of linen and give the outfit some structure. I’m a big fan of Steve Mono shoes for that reason.

And don’t forget to try something unexpected – wearing linen pants with a dress layered on top! For someone like me who rarely wears dresses, this was a game changer. It creates a fresh, modern look while keeping everything comfortable and practical.
