Guide For Custom Linen Garments

As you know, at Linenfox, we are giving You a rare opportunity to have the clothing slightly customized to fit perfectly. Due to our sewing patterns, we have the capability to make some minor adjustments:

• Lengthen or shorten the garment;
• Add some length to the sleeves or shorten them;
• Either exclude the unwanted pocket or if needed, add one;
• Make the garment in other color available from our color palette.

It is better to always check how specific dresses or trousers can be customized. That is why we showcase both the standard measurements and all the possible changes in each garment’s description. You will find this detailed information under Sizing & Fit.

THE KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER

1. Firstly, we highly recommend comparing the given measurements of the garment to measurements of your body. Sometimes customization is not even needed. Simply take the soft measuring tape and see where the lengths of the inseam or sleeves would end on your body.

2. Secondly, a deviation of 2,5 cm / 1 inch is normal and acceptable in manual garment manufacturing. Therefore, we tend to agree to adjust the lengths starting from 2,5 cm / 1 inch only.

3. Bear in mind the fact that once we apply the changes, the garment will be non-refundable and non-returnable. For this reason, we advise you to be completely sure and precise about your decision or simply order our standard linen garment first.

HOW TO ORDER A GARMENT WITH CUSTOM CHANGES

• When ordering, choose the size and the color you prefer the garment to be;
• After measuring and comparing the given lengths, click on the box below “I need a custom garment“;
• In the box field you should write your request with the exact whole lengths you want in cm or inches. Or simply write in the lines of: “Add / Remove 4 cm from the outseam” ;
• By putting in your request for customization, you indicate that you have read and agree to the Shipping & Return terms.

IMPORTANT

We can add up to 15 cm (or 6 inches) of fabric at no charge. An additional charge of 10 euros will apply for every additional 15 cm / 6 inches. For this, you should also include a listing of “I am custom made” to your order.

Also, some of our garments feature lengths that need different measuring. This includes dropped shoulders or set-in-sleeves. If you are unsure how to measure the lengths let us know.
