The Lou coat is a heavy-weight knee-length military-inspired coat featuring the details that you would find on a trench coat. The double-breasted coat boasts a pointed collar with medium size lapels, and the back has a decorative rain guard. The waistline is impossible without belt loops and a long belt accentuating the waist and giving grace to the classic silhouette. This coat would not look better without the elegant sleeve straps and epaulets, not to mention the front pockets.

Because of its thick and woven texture, the fabric looks great when layered with lighter pieces in other textures and colors. The fabric is also preshrunk and softened during the manufacturing process to provide a pleasant feel to the skin.
The garment should be washed in low-temperature water (30-40C) on a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying to prevent color fading. Use environment-friendly laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Take the clothes out while they are still damp and air-dry. To remove wrinkles, iron the inside out, and set a low heat on the iron.
